Cosmo Air Light paper is a hit with fountain pen users. Unlike some other smooth papers, this one has just the right amount of texture so your pen doesn’t slide too easily. It feels smooth under your pen but with a touch of grip. This results in writing being an enjoyable experience. The paper is so smooth that at times your pen nib may produce a small squeaking sound as you write!
This paper is available in various weights from 75 grams per square meter (gsm), 83 gsm, 92 gsm to 115 gsm. Two commonly favored weights are 75 gsm and 83 gsm. Though the 83 gsm version appears thick, it is more than 20 percent lighter than similarly thick coated papers. This thickness makes the pages sturdy while preventing the notebook from feeling excessively heavy.
Inks fare quite well on this paper. Your letters will exhibit a lot of sheen and shading details. The paper also dries rapidly without seeping through to the subsequent page. All this contributes to writing with fountain pens on Cosmo Air Light paper being a joy.
In essence, Cosmo Air Light Paper fuses practicality, ink performance, and a hint of luxury. Whether you’re penning letters, journaling, or crafting art, the Cosmo Air light notebook paper offers a charming canvas for your fountain pen pursuits!
